Cost Study

Survey Results

In early spring of 2019, a broadband survey was conducted in American Fork. Surveys were mailed to residents in the city, and the online version of the survey was publicized. Businesses were encouraged to complete a separate business-focused survey. The results of these are included later in this report.

Task Force Report

In May 2019, American Fork Mayor Brad Frost assembled an ad hoc Task Force on Telecommunications, consisting of four city residents with varied expertise, to examine a proposal to extend fiber optic connectivity as a city utility to every residence and business in American Fork.
